Dragon Age Inquisition Torrent Na Pc 32 Bit

Dragon Age: Inquisition was one of last year’s best games, and the one complaint you certainly couldn’t aim at it was a lack of content. In fact some fans actually felt there were too many side quests, making it extremely difficult to complete every single one. But that creates an additional problem when it comes to downloadable content: what do you add to a game that already has too much to do? The trick to good DLC is providing more of the same while making sure that it doesn’t just feel like a needless rerun of what already exists. Which is particularly tricky if the developer can’t be sure whether you’ve finished the main story yet (although here you’re advised to be at least level 20). These are issues that BioWare has only got right a few times with their downloadable expansions, although to be fair that is better than most others have ever managed.

The story in Jaws Of Hakkon concerns the fate of the last known Inquisitor, before your own player character, and a tribe of surly warriors called the Avvar. There’s a mountain of new lore to read up on, but unless you’re a fairly obsessive fan it can all seem like fantasy-by-numbers, which has always been a problem with the rather generic Dragon Age universe. What usually makes the difference is the writing, or the rather the tone of the writing. BioWare in super serious epic mode is rarely as entertaining as their more whimsical efforts, and thankfully Jaws Of Hakkon has a strong sense of humour that uses the excuse of being an expansion to pepper the script with in-jokes and fan favourite cameos – including a notably more prominent role for flirtatious scout Harding. The addition of a whole new map area is not necessarily something Inquisition was in desperate need of, but Frostback Basin is certainly one of the most attractive and varied areas in the whole game.

It might sound like it’s just another snowy wasteland but it actually has everything from tree-top villages to a sizeable fishing village and a ghost-filled swamp. And although this means yet another new map filled with trivial object to collect there is a clear attempt to make the side quests more than just the usual fetch quests. Many link back into the main story quest or offer up a new piece of backstory that helps to make sense of the basin’s complicated history and topography. Some missions even intersect with quests from the parent game, which is something you rarely see in downloadable content, and you gain new upgrades for your base at Skyhold and new options for the War Table – if you haven’t already finished the main story. This is in addition to all the expected new weapons, armour, and equipment; as well as a new power for your Inquisitor: an upgradeable shield that can block any projectile attack.
