The reviewers who say this is a waste of time for experienced pianists must all have recording contracts and be touring professionals. I've been playing for 30 years and I love this book.

You can make what you want to out of these exercises. Yes, they are basic minuet. Structures, but there are lots of interesting chord changes and progressions, and opportunities for improvisation. For me, this is as if Oscar Peterson sits down with you in person and recommends exercises to help you get better.
